Summer Schedule: 6/1 – 9/1
Week 1 – 2: June 1 – 11
Ocean Life & Hawaii
The children will dive into oceans, seas, and coral reefs to learn about the variety of God’s creatures and their characteristics. On Thursday, June 3rd wear something that represents the ocean (i.e., a shark shirt). We will pretend to swim along whales, sharks, manta rays and other aquatic mammals as a “marine biologist.” Water play will increase science, math, and physical skills. On Wednesday, June 9th wear Hawaiian clothes if you have any.
Weeks 3 – 4: June 14 – 25
Father’s Day & Carnival
The children will learn about families. Specifically, the importance of fathers, grandpa’s, and uncles as they play an important role in a child’s life. On Tuesday, June 15th will be Mustache Day. School will provide each student with a fake mustache.
The children will experience a lot of dramatic play during carnival week and face painting.
Weeks 5 – 6: June 28 – July 9
5 – USA Red, White, &Blue
We will have a parade on June 30th, wear party hats, dance, go on a scavenger hunt and more to celebrate America’s 245 birthday! Please wear red, white, and blue on June 30th.
Monday, July 5thth – School Closed
6 – Insects and Bugs
Let’s take a look at the wonders of God’s creatures. The children will be engaged in fun experiences while learning the facts about different species of insects: their habitat, their role in nature, the parts of their body, cycles, food and more. Bring a favorite bug book to school any day of this week.
Weeks 7 – 8: July 12 – 23
7 – Vacation Bible School Theme: God’s Wonder Lab
The children will learn about experiments and how God can make the impossible, possible.
8 – Space
The children will explore the wonders of the Galaxy and build with large cardboard boxes. We will need donations of medium and large boxes (i.e. tv or appliance) to make space ships. Wednesday, July 21st will be bathing suit day.
Weeks 9 – 10: July 26 – August 6
9 – The lost World: Dinosaurs
The children will have fun while digging for fossils, engage in prehistoric pretend play, explore the occupation of paleontologists, and use literacy and math skills in the process. Please wear a dinosaur themed item of clothing if you have one on Wednesday, July 28th.
10 – Water Week
Children should wear their bathing suits on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (August 2, 4 & 6)
Weeks 11 – 12: August 9 – 20
11 – Rainbows and Weather
The children will explore the weather and the significance of a rainbow . Tuesday, August 10th will be crazy hair day.
12 – Ice Cream
The children will participate in a science experiment by making ice cream in a bag and eating it. The children will also use their imaginations while playing with our ice cream dramatic play kit.
Week 13: August 23 – 27
The Wide World of Sports
We will discover how to use gross motor skills by using our hands, feet, and full body coordination. The children will be presented with the challenge of rolling, throwing, catching, kicking, and dribbling balls.
On Wednesday, August 25th please wear your favorite sports team clothes.
Please remember to turn in your fall registration form and your $100 annual registration fee by Friday, August 27th.
Week 14: August 30 – September 1
The Last week of Summer
School will be closed September 2nd -the 7th for teacher preparation and Labor Day. We will resume on Wednesday, September 8th for the 2021-2022 school year.

12:00-12:30 Lunch inside or outdoors (dependent upon weather)
